This is a gorgeous 11.5" diameter dragon styled Valencia tray. This would look great in a china cabinet or on a buffet in a stand.
The dragon looks great and was created prior to fusing the tray. I used a stencil to shape the dragon in black powdered glass on the clear layer on the tray. I then combined that layer with the red/white swirled glass and fused it together in the kiln. The next day it went back into the kiln on a mold to shape it.
The tray is tray is not only decorative but also food safe. It can add a bit of drama and style to your food service when guests come for a visit.
